Design of a multi-purpose titanium bottle for uncontaminated sampling of carbon monoxide and potentially of other analytes Academic Article uri icon

abstract

  • The design, construction, and performance of a non-contaminating titanium sampler for carbon monoxide (CO) are described. In light of the favorable properties of titanium and the minimal contact of O-rings with samples, this multipurpose design is expected to excel at a broad range of other uses: sampling gases, organic compounds, some trace metals, and living and dead particles.
